Western Cowboy Boot Plant Tender Water Spike for Indoor or Outdoor Potted Plants

This ceramic western cowboy boot plant tender or flower watering spike are used to help maintain the moisture of soil in garden containers or potted house plants. They help keep plants watered without constant attention and help avoid overwatering. Using a plant tender is easy, simply insert the cone shaped spike into the soil and fill the reservoir with water, refill when dry. The water in the reservoir is siphoned through the spike keeping the soil moist.

Dimensions:

• 5 1/2 inches tall overall
• 3 inches long (toe to heel)
• 1 1/2 inch oval shape opening
• Drainage spike that is inserted into the soil is approximately 2 inches long.
• Holds approximately 2 ounces of water
• Made to Order and ships on completion

All plant tenders are hand cast from clay slip and fired in my kiln.  Each piece is glazed by hand and fired in my kiln a second time.  All glaze used is non-toxic people and plant friendly. This western boot plant tender is made using a vintage mold that is no longer is production so quantities are limited.
