Squirrel Plant Tender for Potted Plants or Container Gardens Made in the USA

This light brown squirrel is plant tender or water spike.   This squirrel will add a bit of accent to your plants and help keep the soil moist. Plant tenders is made to be used in outdoors flower containers, barrel gardens or in potted house plants kept indoors. Plant Sitters help eliminate the need for constant attention and help avoid overwatering too. Using a plant tender is easy, simply insert the spike into the soil and fill the reservoir with water, refill when dry. The water in the reservoir soaks through the cone keeping the soil moist that surrounds the plant.

Dimensions:

• 6 1/4 inches tall overall (5 inches without head) X 2 1/2 inches wide X 2 inches deep
• Opening at top is approx. 3/4 of an inch diameter
• Drainage spike that is inserted into the soil is approx. 2 1/2 inches long.

This plant tender is made of hand cast with clay slip and fired in my kiln. Each piece is glazed by hand and fired in my kiln a second time.  All glaze used is non-toxic people and plant friendly.
