Small Green Ceramic Snail Plant Tender or Watering Spike for Potted Plants or Garden Containers

This small green snail plant tender or watering spike will add a bit of accent to your potted plants and help keep the soil moist. Plant sitters help eliminate the need for constant attention and help avoid overwatering. Using a plant tender is easy, simply insert the spike into the soil and fill the reservoir with water, refill when dry. The water in the reservoir is absorbed through the cone keeping the soil moist surrounding the plant. Plant tenders can be used outdoors in container flower gardens or in potted house plants kept indoors.   

Dimensions:

• 4 1/2 inches tall overall X 3 12 inches wide (head to tail) X 2 1/4 inches deep
• Opening at top is approx. 5/8 inch diameter
• Drainage spike that is inserted into the soil is approx. 2 3/4 inches long.

This plant tender is made of hand cast with clay slip and fired in my kiln. Each piece is glazed by hand and fired in my kiln a second time.  All glaze is non-toxic people and plant friendly. Please keep in mind each one is hand painted and has its own individual characteristics.
