Giant Wise Owl Soap Dispenser in Natural Earth Shades with Stainless Pump Unit

This giant wise owl soap dispenser bottle is topped with a classic stainless steel pump unit. Not only is this giant ceramic owl ideal for liquid soap or lotions it can also hold hand sanitizer. This ceramic owl is finished in natural warm earth shades and all detail is hand painted, it is made in the USA. 

This giant owl pump dispenser is made of ceramic earthenware using a plaster casting mold. The owl is formed into a dispenser before being kiln fired. I finish each giant owl in natural warm earthy colors.  The body front is the color of old lace, the side wings, tail feathers back and head are taupe and the area around the eyes is a darker shade. Each feather is hand painted in a folk art styling using various accent colors. The glaze on the outside is non-toxic, the ceramic owl is also glazed inside sealing the entire piece for added life.

This giant ceramic owl pump dispenser measures:

• 8 inches tall with the stainless steel pump (5 1/2 inches w/o pump),
• 4 1/2 inches diameter at the widest point.
• 4 inches deep 
• A stainless steel pump unit is included (the stainless pump is not of domestic origin).

Each ceramic owl dispenser is made in my shop located in Central Texas. Many techniques and non-toxic underglazes are used to achieve the final piece you see. All ceramics I make are kiln fired to bisque (nearly 2000 degrees) then glaze is applied with a brush and the piece is fired a second time to approximately 1800 dgrees maturing the glaze. All of the glazes used on my ceramics are non toxic and contain no lead. This unique dispenser is made to last many years.
