Fat Body Frog with Open Mouth Plant Tender for Potted Plants Herb Garden

This fat body frog with an open mouth is a plant tender finished in a glaze called herb garden. This frog plant tender helps keep garden containers, flowers or potted house plants watered without constant attention and help avoid overwatering. Plant tenders are easy to use, just insert the cone shaped end into the soil and fill the frogs reservoir with water. The soil absorbs the water through the porous cone spike, just fill the reservoir when needed. Plant tenders work well to keep plants watered while away.

The frog plant tender measures:

• 4 1/2 inces tall overall
• 2 1/2 inches wide.
• the opening at the mouth is approx. 1 1/4 inches in diameter
• the drainage spike that is inserted into the soil is approx. 1 3/4 inch long.
• holds approximately 4 ounces of water  

This plant tender is made of hand cast with clay slip and fired in my kiln. Each piece is glazed by hand and fired in my kiln a second time.  All glaze is non-toxic people and plant friendly.
