Day of the Dead Skull Sugar Bowl or Container with Lid in Mexican Folk Art Original Design by Jacque, Made in the USA

This skull canister or sugar bowl is finished in a Mexican fork art design commemorating the Day of the Dead.  The cylinder shape container is very detailed, several skulls are embossed on the outer surface of the container and differ in size and position.  A total of 6 skulls surround the entire container.  Each skull is hand painted with its own unique design, the design is my original art.

This canister with lid can be used in the bath to hold cotton balls, hair bands or even first aid bandage's, your imagination is the limit.
The canister is also great for the kitchen, it is a great size to use as a sugar bowl, it will hold an ample amount of tea bags, even sweetener packets. It is also great for keeping your candy stash safe on your work desk.

The round cylinder measures:

• 3 1/2 inches tall
• 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

The decorative lid measures:

• 2 inches tall from the edge of the inset to the top of the knob,
• 4 inches in diameter, there is a lip that fits inside the top of the inside edge of the container.

This canister holds approximately 16 ounces comfortably. 

The container or lid are made of slip cast ceramics using a plaster casting mold. Each piece is kiln fired to utility use bisque. All hand painted designs on the canister are original and only non toxic lead free underglaze and glazes are used to finish the piece. This container and lid are dishwasher safe and food safe, the colors and design will not fade, flake or peel. This is a food safe container.
