Chicken and Rooster Salt & Pepper Shakers Farmhouse Chicken Decor Functional and Collectible

This set of country farm rooster and chicken ceramic salt and pepper shakers are decorative, functional and collectible. These fine feathered fowls are made of kiln fired ceramics and ideal for any kitchen, dining area or even on a shelf. The set of shakers is finished in black and white, the body of each is fat and round. 

Each shaker measures:
Fat Rooster:
• 3 inches tall 
• 4 3/4 inches long
• 2 3/4 inches deep. 
Fat Chicken:
• 2 3/4 inches tall 
• 4 1/4 inches long
• 2 3/4 inches deep. 

This set of salt and peppers shakers are food safe and caring for them is easy. Each shaker is fitted with a plastic stopper in the bottom for easy of filling, the stoppers are not of domestic origin.

Each set of fat chicken salt and pepper shakers is made of domestic slip ceramic earthenware using a plaster casting mold for uniformity and kiln fired to nearly 2000 degrees to mature the greenware to bisque. All detail is hand painted with non toxic underglaze and finished with food safe non-toxic glaze. The final glaze firing is brought up to the temperature of nearly 1800 degrees maturing the glaze sealing the outside of the ceramics with a coat of glass. 

Keep in mind all shakers are hand painted so no two are exactly alike.
