This ceramic eagle is the national bird and symbol of the United States of America, the US Navy, Air Force and Marines. This bald eagle is very striking and highly detailed, the body is finished in a dark brown, the wings are stretched as if taking off for flight, the head and tail are white, the strong talons are high lighted , the beak is large and hooked showing the typical silhouette of a graceful eagle. This eagle is made of slip cast ceramics from a ceramic mold and kiln fired. All detail is hand painted and finished in a non-toxic glaze that contains no lead or harmful elements. It is dishwasher safe however hand washing is recommended.
